Berry Smoothie Cubes

6 cubes make smoothies

Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and coarsely chopped

  • 2 cup fresh blueberries or rasberries

  • ½ cup orange juice or apple juice

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 1 6 ounce container plain Greek yogurt or other desired yogurt

  • ¼ cup honey

Directions

  1. In a food processor or blender combine the first six ingredients (through the honey). Cover and process until smooth.

  2. Pour berry mixture into compartments of ice cube trays. Freeze overnight until firm. Transfer frozen cubes to a 1-gallon freezer bag. Seal bag and freeze up to 6 months.

To make a smoothie

To make a smoothie, place 5 or 6 frozen cubes in a blender. Add 3/4 cup milk, unsweetened almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, or other desired milk. Cover and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
